STRATEGIC SESSION FOR THE MUSEUM COMPLEX
Context
A large museum complex with dozens of exhibits, which received government funding, was faced with the task of determining its strategic course for the next five years. The meeting brought together 15 participants, including the museum director, curators, heads of departments of educational programs, PR, as well as government representatives and sponsors.

Format and duration
The session was held in person on the territory of the museum and lasted three days.

Process
Participants worked to define the mission and vision of the museum, its strategic priorities, development vectors and action plan. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the target audience, the current state and prospects for the development of the museum sphere.

Results
As a result of the work, the mission of the museum was determined - to become a center of education and culture, accessible to all segments of the population. A plan was formed to improve exhibitions, expand educational activities and attract new audiences. Activities were planned to strengthen interaction with the public and media.

Output
The strategic planning session helped the museum team to go beyond the daily routine and understand their role and place in the context of social and cultural processes. The planning process helped the team see its overall direction and identify specific steps to achieve its goals. Participants noted that the session helped them strengthen team spirit and increase motivation for further work.
